Tell Congress to Support Increased Federal Arts Funding for FY25
Congress is already making decisions about next year’s funding for the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and we need your help to ensure increased federal arts funding.
Currently, appropriations request letters are circulating in the House and Senate and we need members in both chambers to sign their names in support of funding the NEA and NEH at $211 million in FY25. The more members of Congress who sign these letters, the better our chances of increased funding to support jobs for union creative professionals.
We must remind Congress of the economic and cultural benefits that the NEA and NEH provide by supporting good-paying, family-supporting jobs and access to artistic content in every state. Additionally, increased federal arts funding is crucial to building more inclusive arts, entertainment, and media industries, as NEA and NEH supported programs provide valuable career pathway opportunities
Taking action today to secure support from members of Congress for $211 million in FY25 funding helps get us closer to our ultimate goal of restoring the NEA and NEH to a full funding level of $1 per capita.
