President Trump’s 2019 budget proposal completely eliminates the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB).

“Eliminating the NEA is simply unacceptable. Orchestras, festivals and theaters throughout the country would be devastated without NEA support. Musicians joined together last year to save the NEA—and we will be making even more noise this year to ensure that Congress protects the NEA and other critical arts funding.” said AFM President Ray Hair.
