Congratulations! The American Rescue Plan, including the Butch Lewis Emergency Pension Plan Relief Act of 2021, has been passed by the Senate. Because of the efforts of AFM members like you, this bill includes a provision that will protect hundreds of thousands of working Americans and retirees from losing pension benefits.

While the pension language has passed both houses, because changes were made to the bill in the Senate, it must go back to the House for approval before heading to President Biden’s desk for his signature. That is expected next week.

Tell your representatives once again how important the Butch Lewis EPPRA and passage in the COVID-19 relief package relief is to you. Ask that they pass the American Rescue Plan.
